Landscape Maintenance Professionals is Hiring an Arbor Groundsman Near Lutz, FL
An Arbor Groundsman is required to perform heavy physical duties on a variety of tasks which are generally semi-skilled in nature. Groundsman duties will vary depending on the type of work assigned to crew.
- Hauling brush and wood from the tree to the truck, assisting the tree climber, using ropes, various hand and power tools, and cleaning the job site.
- Work with takedown crews to ensure good communication between the crew.
- Function as a member of a tree crew while progressively learning new skills.
- Operate chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and other equipment as needed on job-site.
- Maintain issued personal gear, crew gear, and equipment.
- Competent or willing to learn chainsaw operation and maintenance.
- Able to perform highly repetitive and physical functions.
- Follow safety guidelines and wear all PPE required.
- High School diploma preferred
- 1 year of professional tree climbing/tree trimming/ groundsman work experience.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License and clean driving record preferred (23 years old )
Authorized to work in the United States.
